Here is where I will post my blog (every 1-2 weeks), pictures of my adventures and information about AFS (the program I am going with) and about my work at ACS Stepping Stone.

 With a program called American Field Service (AFS) I will move to Penang to work with mentally handicapped in order to allow them to live an independent life. The project, in which I will be working, is called Asia Community Center (Stepping Stone). I am being financially supported by the German ministry for Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (Bundesministeriums für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend) through a program called Internationaler Jugend Freiwilligen Dienst (IJFD) which roughly translates to international youth voluntary service.
In my blog I will try to convey my impressions, experiences and insights of the Malaysian culture, lifestyle and most importantly food by posting a short article and some pictures every 1-2 weeks.I hope that you will enjoy my future posts.
Please remember that I am not trying to portray the Malaysian culture in any certain way, but that I am merely sharing my personal experieces with you.
